Greetings Family, Friends and Followers:

I created a splash page on @aboutdotme – Please, check it out!
For the past several months I have been heavy into the development of WhosWhoSocial.com and Worldhits.org. I am nearing the completion of the last few DEMO modules and will enter into Beta testing within the next couple of weeks.
As many of you already know, I have always been a dedicated supporter of education and career development services for our urban youth. I believe WhoswhoSocial.com will feed the passions of today's urban youth, which is social networking, music and entertainment. Through WhosWhoSocial.com we will nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and create a culture of "Urban Success" as well as provide an outlet for distribution and promotion of Music, Film/Video, and much more. Allowing the user/our members to associate themselves with the widely known celebrities we will cover on a monthly basis. We will even provide opportunity and teach solo professionals how to leverage the social media to create a WORLD fan base and how to capitalize on followers financially. Users will even have access to create their own store on Worldhits.org allowing them to sell or trade items with a percentage of the money they make going to help provide technology in schools and in after school programs. Our sites will truly cater to the aspiring entertainment solo professionals and new entertainment media entrepreneurs.
This is just an overview of what is possible with a music based talent directory and student driven social network site. My vision for this site is for improving the education and economic development opportunities of urban youth and young professionals on a large scale world-wide. Ibelieve if we can put money in students and artists pockets legitimately they'll find their way to live a legitimate life. For this reason I think we will be in the running for becoming one of the fastest growing social network websites for 2011. That is one of my short term goals.
We are connecting the dots between urban development and corporate workforce development. By using new social media responsibly, we will set new trends that make it cool to be educated, employed and/or self-employed. We must emphasize that education and/or the skills trades are a viable alternative to “underground economics” and a life wasted behind bars.
The desired outcome from our social network community building is that young people and adults will become better informed in order to make better choices, become more socially engaged and aware of a wide range of realistic pathways to upward mobility and wealth.
On behalf of undeserved Urban Youth and their families worldwide we are seeking advisory board members, letters of support and partners to expand the scope of the social network services into an online virtual career development system.
On my new About.ME splash page I have links to my blogs, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. Also, I have included a new interview on YouTube for your review. Please take a look at what we have done so far. Worldhits.org is still under development but a lot of the Key Features work even now.
When you visit our soon to be launched Beta test site (WorldHits.Org). Check out our innovative Drop Down Menu, the Demo Social/Community section, The Hitsworks Business Incubator, Virtual Auditions in the Hits-Lab chat room, Read the WHO Blog, You can LIKE us in our Bottom Tool Bar and much more. You can read the positive comments on WhosWhoSocial.net and Please, follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
When you go to http://about.me/richardgibson, you will notice at the bottom a group of Social Network icons and links to my interview that is posted on Youtube. There is also a link to 21st FLEET's Ning site. When you click on the Facebook icon located on the Splash page a window will pop up. At the top you will see words such as Twitter, Blogger etc. that will navigate you to more information that will appear within the pop up window.http://about.me/richardgibson

Sly & the Family Stone's success
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2K4WVITaQM
Along with James Brown and Parliament-Funkadelic, Sly & the Family Stone were pioneers of late 1960s and early '70s funk. Their fusion of R&B rhythms, infectious melodies, and psychedelia created a new pop/soul/rock hybrid the impact of which has proven lasting and widespread. Motown producer Norman Whitfield, for example, patterned the label's forays into harder-driving, socially relevant material (such as The Temptations' "Runaway Child" and "Ball of Confusion") based on their sound. The pioneering precedent of Stone's racial, sexual, and stylistic mix, had a major influence in the 1980s on artists such as Prince and Rick James. Legions of artists from the 1990s forward — including Public Enemy, Fatboy Slim, Beck and many others — mined Stone’s seminal back catalog for hook-laden samples.
After a mildly received debut album, A Whole New Thing (1967), Sly & The Family Stone had their first hit single with "Dance to the Music", which was later included on analbum of the same name. Although their third album, Life (also 1968), also suffered from low sales, their fourth album, Stand! (1969), became a runaway success, selling over three million copies and spawning a number one hit single, "Everyday People". By the summer of 1969, Sly & The Family Stone were one of the biggest names in music, releasing three more top five singles, "Hot Fun in the Summertime" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" / "Everybody is a Star", before the end of the year, and appearing at Woodstock.
1969 Lamborghini Miura

Miles Davis is said to have driven his Miura around with a .357 Magnum stashed under the seat and enjoyed outrunning police cars while terrified passengers like Jimi Hendrix held on for dear life. He crashed the car in 1972, breaking both ankles in the process, and immediately ordered another. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/1967-lamborghini-miura-p400/207082
The world's most famous and stylish musicians owned one

He crashed the car in 1972, breaking both ankles in the process, and immediately ordered another. Frank Sinatra arrived at the Lamborghini factory outside carrying a roll of specially tanned wild boar skin with which he instructed the workmen to upholster the interior. He chose orange metallic paint for the exterior and matching shag carpet within.
