Rosie Gaines, a tribute film and fundraiser for IndieGOGO campaign

Former Prince protege, Rosie Gaines is a world-recognized musician, vocalist and song-writer. She is best know for touring with Prince and being part of his Diamonds & Pearls album.

Rosie has recently fallen on hard times, and in an effort to support the musical community, people are rallying to provide Rosie with what she needs to get back on her feet.

When I was 8, my older siblings and I would rush through dinner then beg to go "hear the band down the street." We didn't always get to go, but when we did, we ran for exactly 5 houses to hear the 5-piece band performing in concert from a garage. Rosie Gaines was the lead singer. She wasn't even a teenager yet, but she belted Chaka Khan songs like Chaka, herself. It was surreal... Be well Rosie. In Jesus' Holy name.
